Funny how vinyl 'comes back' every few years isn't it? But those like The Kingsland Vinyl Appreciation Society have never stopped spinning the stuff, and now it's supposed to be the saviour of the music industry. Again. The last few years have seen The Kingsland Vinyl Appreciation Society "thrilling crowds with riff happy DJ activities" up and down the country and abroad, supporting the likes of Trans Am, Moving Units, Damo Suzuki, Dimmer, Jakob, Peaches, Le Tigre, and Battles while also recently releasing A Flip And Two Twisters; a well-compiled, and good-looking compilation spread across double gatefold vinyl that includes cuts from local heavyweights Shihad, The Mint Chicks, Jakob, High Dependency Unit, and The Fanatics alongside up and coming contenders
James Duncan, Body Corporate, and Yokel Ono as well as some retired champion pugilists in the form of Straitjacket Fits, Meterman, The Never Ends, and The Subliminals.
